“ Had a really good birthday dinner for my girlfriend and our server Asia made the best recommendations we loved all our food top tier serves and dinks we're never empty couldn't ask for better serves 5/5 ”
“ Asia is awsome! Checked on us regularly, very friendly and her recommendations on the food was spot on! Coming back and asking for her for sure!!! ”
“ This was my first time at Gringo's and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, but the best part was our server, Asia! She was attentive, kind, and super helpful with offering suggestions! There is something to be said for excellent customer service and Asia definitely provided that! I highly recommend the lava guava Rita! ”
“ Asia was a fantastic server. I think this was the best experience I've ever had dining out thanks to her amazing customer service skills. Just enough questions while also allowing us to enjoy our meal. The special touch was asking everyone's names and continuing to remember when addressing us through the meal. Up sold us on a fajita for two chicken, steak, and shrimp which ended up being delicious. We had a to go meal as well and Asia made it a point to remember and ask for the order so that it would come out just in time for us to finish our meal and pay. ”
“ Gringo's in Cypress is our go to TexMex restaurant. We go one to two times a week. The food is always excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and attentive. Let me reiterate - the staff at Gringo's are GREAT! One of their current featured dishes is Pollo Mexicali. It is delicious. I recommend going and giving it a try. Other dishes are also good including their fajitas and combination plates. I've never been a cheese enchilada fan until I tried Gringo's version. We've always felt welcome when we eat at Gringo's and leave satisfied and happy. ”
“ Food and Service was excellent!!! My husband and I split the shrimp and fajitas for one. It was enough for the both of us and was very good! The restaurant was clean and well maintained. ”
“ The waitlist for the win on Valentine's Day!!! We were originally headed somewhere else but everywhere we went had the longest lines so I'm guessing everyone decided to take their sweethearts out for V Day. Decided to get on Gringo's waitlist and we were around the 50th group on the list but we were 20 minutes out. Kept refreshing and the line was clearing out quickly. Got there and checked in (very important to do that even if you're on the waitlist) and I'd say 10 minutes later we got seated. Always very friendly staff but they can get side tracked easily at the front because this location stays busy. Lots of seating though even outdoors and during the cold months they have the heaters on outdoors. I've always loved the colorful decor and all the greenery. They greet you with complimentary chips with green and red salsa. The green salsa is one of my family's favorites. They had a limited menu because of the holiday which is a slight bummer especially if you're a picky eater but that's definitely not a problem with me because I love to eat! The shrimp tacos I had were packed!!! Shrimp was falling out as I was eating but unfortunately one of the shrimp still had the skin on which I easily just picked it out as I was eating but having ate here plenty of times I've noticed the shrimp plates could be cooked just a little longer but I did enjoy my meal. My granddaughter loves the free ice cream which is a machine at the front as you leave and you help yourself. They have cones and then vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Great way to wrap up the meal. Also don't miss out on their happy hour M-F 4pm-6pm!!! ”
“ Just as delicious as the last time! We had a large group for dinner here and I was able to add us to their waitlist online since they don't take reservations. Best part of having littles with you is the outdoor play area they have out front. Here, you can enjoy your frozen margaritas on a warm day while your kiddos get their energy out before sitting down for a meal. Free soft serve ice cream is always a hit! Combo fajitas with the bacon wrapped jalapeño .. delish. ”
“ A huge Mexican restaurant with great vibes! We came for lunch in a Friday around 1, and we were sat immediately in a pretty big booth. There were tons of seating: floor, booth, outside, bar. The menu is pretty big also with a lot of variety. I got the large Queso to start. It was yellow queso, which isn't my favorite, but it fed four of us. As an entree, I got the chicken con queso. This came with an avocado, rice, beans, and two tortillas, and I got the queso on the side. The grilled chicken was delicious. My friends got the enchiladas and bang bang shrimp tacos, which both looked pretty good. There is also an ice cream machine, where you can get free ice cream throughout your time! Our waitress was ok... the food took a good minute to come out. But, she was fine. I would come back again! ”
“ Been to other locations. And always have good service and food is consistent. Plenty of parking and plenty of tables inside and out. I went ahead and used the waitlist on their website that works thru OpenTable. I got on waitlist 30 mins before my arrival time. I was #38 but once I arrived at 7:10 and checked in I was #9 and my total wait time was maybe 10 mins. I highly recommend everyone do the waitlist to be in line before you get there.. I ordered the pollo marisco which is chicken breast, shrimp and crawfish tails and rice, cucumber salad and beans.. my date ordered a similar chicken dish named Tampico Really good food, portions are good and prices reasonable...total was $48 before tip..but we didn't get any adult beverages just sweet tea and strawberry lemonade. Will be back again ”
